The feedback provided from the Pivot survey was invaluable for informing our practice as a collaborative team. The detailed and specific information allowed us to identify standards in which we were excelling, prompting discussion around best practice and the opportunity to share positive teaching tools. Identifying areas for growth stimulated further discussion about visible positive practice from effective teachers. As a group, we were able to use this feedback towards department goals as well as generating steps towards achieving these. The process enhanced our knowledge of ourselves as teachers, each other as teachers as well as ensuring we continue evolving as an informed cohesive department.
