Pivot began as a lively discussion between three women sharing a passion for education. We now serve over 700 schools across Australia to improve teaching at the classroom, school and system level.
Back in 2014 our founders, Cleo Westhrope, Belinda Harries and Caitlin Macleod, wondered why Australian teachers did not have a reliable way to know their impact. They knew that schools collect data and gather feedback to a varied effect. Yet a strong empirical and validated approach was missing. Pivot was founded to translate feedback from students into the classroom, empowering teachers and school leaders to become better educators.
